I can only imagine how heavy it must have felt for Chan when he realized he didn’t really know how Seungmin was feeling. When you’ve been like family with someone for so long, it’s not always easy to open up - and Seungmin, in his own quiet way, probably didn’t want to burden him. But that’s what makes Chan such a beautiful leader: even though he didn’t know, he chose to listen, to understand, and to promise himself to do better. I haven’t seen Seungmin open up about his feelings much but when he does he always expresses his feelings deeply they really have formed a strong bond over the years it’s something that takes time to form a connection it makes me truly happy that we could see them grow up and mature together can’t believe it’s been so long 🥹

I love how healthy their friendship is. It took me years to reach a point where I could stand up for myself and say, 'Hey, I’m feeling this way about that,' with my friends, knowing it's all part of growing. It sounds easy, but sometimes it's really hard to find people you trust enough to know everything will be okay after opening up like that. I cried... relate with Seungmin. I've been always the person who would feel the heaviest emotions out there but couldn't really let it out. But when I do, I try to tell the person everything which I've been thinkin'. Sometimes, I just cry alone in a dark room, not able to share anyone the things, and then walk out with a smile, as if nothin' happened. But I have people with whom I pour all my emotions...I also find it hard a bit hard to express my emotions...but yeah...ummm...Yeah. Stray Kids been always my free therapy (especially Chan's room and these deep talks) and I must say, I am very lucky and glad that I am a STAY!!!...❤

なんて綺麗な涙を流すんだろう。 なんてかけがえのないリーダーなんだろう。 安い表現かもしれないけど ずっとずっとまっすぐメンバーに音楽に向き合ってきたことが痛いほど伝わる 全力で向き合うほど、メンバーとの摩擦に酷く傷ついたりメンバーを失うことを恐れたりする気持ちが大きくなるのかも、なんて想像した。 普段は周りに悟られないくらい静かに仕舞い込んでる気持ちがこのコンテンツで溢れ出たのかな。いつも頑張ってて偉いなぁ。。

今回のスンミンにいっぱい驚いた。チャニと衝突をしょっちゅうしてたことや、表には出さなくてもヒョンたちに『なんで』って思ったことや、何より涙を見せてくれたことに！最初は泣かないで、スンミナ〜！なんて思ったけど、いや、いっぱい泣きなって途中思った。人間って特に何も無くてもちょっとしたことが引き金になって堰を切ったように涙出ることある。そして泣いたらスッキリするんだよね！それだけ今までスンミンが押し隠して見ないようにしてた感情が奥底にあったんじゃないかな。チャニがスンミンに謝ってたけど、スンミンは決してチャニを責めるつもりはないし、上手く表現できず、伝わらないもどかしさやチャニに対する申し訳なさをいいたかったんじゃないかな。本当にスンミナの涙からチャニへの純粋な思いを見せてもらったようで、嬉しかった。この２人だけじゃなくて８人それぞれが同じような時もあったはずで。だからこそこの８人が７年もの歳月を共にしてきてくれたことが、STAYとして本当にありがたくて誇らしい。ありがとう、straykids！ずっとずっとあなたたちを見守って行きたいと思った２kids roomだったよ！

With Seungmin, from the beginning, I don't think we've publicly seen many struggles. From the survival show, he just seemed like a natural talent, self-driven and didn't have to prove himself in the way that some of the other members did. But you can see through his music, just how deeply he cares and how much he went through. Especially about Chan, I think he seeks his approval but also wants to protect Chan and not burden him any further. I remember thinking just how heavy and emotional his journey must have been after 'As we Are' was released because I think he so clearly laid out his struggles and how much he had to go through. I think what he felt in this episode, was just a feeling of being overwhelmed by his feelings for Chan and his members. Sometimes when you've been through the struggle and come out the other side, and everything is going well, that's when the emotions come out about what a difficult journey you've had. I love this episode, but wow was it a heavy start to this series!
