"I see ice as a cream". Hyunjin lyricism is out of this world. The song is about an icy person, who is always cold to him, but he's so helplessly in love that even the smallest gestures that can mean nothing seem warm and creamy to him. Hyunjin is a genius.

I love the way Hyune lives and creates art. He goes to cafes, bookstores, art galleries by himself, buys flowers, reads poetry, gets emotional about dramas, paints, and writes sweet songs..he takes the monotony out of life and makes it romantic, and calming and pleasant. I adore this song. It is one of those songs that you listen to while commuting/on bus rides etc, that makes life a little brighter, like you're the protagonist. Thankyou Hyune, for sharing this with us!

This song is as sweet as ice cream but as sad as when it melts before you get the chance to eat it. The layers of this song being about a cold lover Hyunjin is romanticizing to love him back. A lover who only treats him sweetly some of those times, and Hyunjin choosing to see their relationship as good because of those few moments. Choosing to believe this person who is cold to him is also sweet to him and only him. Hyunjin knowing he is clouded by love and the idea of this love seeing the red flags as green, the ice as a cream. It's hard to imagine someone not loving Hyunjin back in the way that he loves them. Someday someone will love Hyunjin the way he deserves. 😔

Wow, from the title, I thought it would be about actual ice cream but what an amazing, deep, beautiful, emotional song. I absolutely love it. I’m a fairly new (catching up on older videos) and older Stay and Hyunjin just keeps surprising me with how talented he is. He is a beautiful soul! ❤

i hope hyunjin feels as loved and even MORE loved as the love he gives to other people. the song is actually genius to the point that it sounds like a sweet innocent song when the lyrics are bitter. much like the person the song is about, "ice" that he likes to delude himself into thinking is "cream". someone cold but he likes to think is warm. hes a genius. but out of everything, i truly hope he knows that he deserves to FEEL loved as much as he loves.

What's great about Stray Kids? They don't say a simple "i love you", they say "you were the main character in a movie called me", "when i see you smile, i just can't get enough and i can't live without you" and now "if it's what you want, we can take a trip somewhere near galaxy" instead and i think that's more beautiful.

the way hyunjin is so creative for his lyricism and the way he put his thoughts on this one ice.cream perfectly describes an unrequited love because the other person is cold as ice but he sees them like a cream- a soft one which he still adores even if it's hurting him already.

I fell for a friend who turned out to be super manipulative and awful but the idea of being special and the only one receiving her attention was one I had too. thank you hyunjin for your soft voice and amazing song

“i delude myself into thinking that someone who’s cold to everyone is only warm to me” wow just wow. these lyrics are so beautiful heartfelt and just overall well written. hyunjin is a talent as a whole and this song was very much needed. might be much to ask but if this had a mv it’ll portray his emotions even more but thanks jyp for letting him write and put out a song!!

Я безумно благодарна Бан Чану, что он не только собрал прекрасных людей в группе, но и помогает им развивать свой талант в написании песен. Такая прекрасная песня от Хенджина и Чан с Хенджином работали над ней во время тура, безумно талантливые и невероятно трудолюбивые люди. Жду альбом со всеми песнями скз-плеер и скз-рекорд, хочу послушать эти песни уже на муз платформах.

"Ice cream" and "little star" by Hyunjin is two of my most favourite songs and these two songs have a special place in my heart, I can see how he has put his heart into these songs which makes these songs much more special. "Little star" shows how innocent and loving person Hyunjin is. And "Ice cream" shows how deeply he thinks and even appreciate cold personalities. If you ask me who's the most talented person you've ever seen? I'll say it's HYUNJIN. A boy with pure soul inside of him and has angelic beauty outside with perfection flowing in his blood. The way he talks, the way he dance, the way he sings everything is just perfect. I hope he can grow more, get more support, become more successful and lastly finds someone who loves him a lot and be with that person happily for forever.

I don't even have the words anymore to express my appreciation and love for hyunjin from the beginning, he amazed me with his dance skills, his hardworking side and his constant improvement in rap (i love every of his raps, especially the one in 'voices') then he showed his stage prestance, his choreographies, his flow and I liked him more when he came back from his hiatus last year, he completely changed (in a really good way), showing and exposing his artistic skills through painting, drawing and I love this side of him I'm so proud to see him express himself through self-written songs (alongside the amazing leader bang chan) and hear him sing and create the style of music he likes anyway, I'm trying my best to express how I'm feeling rn and how proud I am of him, but it's not organised and completely not clear

Хенджин - воплощение чего то невероятного, изумительного. Он очень талантливый человек. Смотря на него задумываешься "он слишком идеальный, существует ли он вообще?" Но осознание того что он существует приходит как то само. И начинаешь еще больше думать что он слишком идеален и мы его не заслуживаем. Хенджин прекрасный человек. All I can say is that I'm completely in love with this song, with Hyunjin, as always. The lyrics are so cute, but at the same time so beautiful. The best part is the "A la la love you babe". Hyunjin's voice sounds so smooth throughout the song, even his raps. That's why I love Hyunjin's voice. And I love his songs. I can say that everything I feel for Hyunjin was very well detailed in this music lol. Hyunjin is a complete artist. He is incredible. That's what I call "Artist". I hope people value Hyunjin more as a singer, rapper, dancer, songwriter, designer and performer. And not just like a pretty face.
