For all of my younger generation Stay here who may not be as familiar with Radiohead and their music, I wanted to offer some relevant background on the importance of Seungmin picking High and Dry to sing. Back in the day, a lot of people thought this song was a breakup song. It's not. Thom, the original singer, has stated previously that this song is about the struggles of becoming famous. He uses the metaphor of a motorcycle performer (Evil Knievel, another famous figure from back in the day) and the dangers that await their stunts. In a way, fame is just as dangerous. It's about not letting fame destroy the things you hold most precious and the person you are inside. That feels like something extremely relevant and personal to Seungmin, and I think that comes across in his beautiful singing here. He talks about it briefly in his intro to the song, about not becoming too reliant on the love of his fans, and the loneliness of coming home after a show. Artists can easily become addicted to the rush of performing in front of thousands of people. I love how self aware all of Stray Kids are. Seungmin recognized this danger and took steps to improve his situation. Now he has a mini-studio in his room and this project that he loves to work on and he looks forward to coming home after their schedules. I love that so much. So when you listen to our main vocalist singing this song, hear the emotion in his voice and the way he connects with the lyrics. I love you Seungmin ❤

I'm not the biggest skz fan out there, but Seungmin got my attention for his talent since their beginnings, even though he was not much more than a kid at that time. Thinking about the fact he's only 23 and already reflecting on his fame in such a mature way makes him shine even more as a human being, not only as a singer. I see what he means when he says his falsetto has changed. It sounds more round and full, not as sharp as before. Also it's more stable and uses mixed register more than head voice. This honestly made me see him in a new light. Like I don’t really have a bias because I love them all for their own quirks and personalities but this sort of reopened my eyes to how good and genuine of a singer and artist seungmin is. Like it makes me realize his singing for the group is like a bassist in a band. You don’t 100% hear how good they are but you’d 100% hear if they weren’t there [I hope that makes sense]

After so many years in the K-POP industry, I didn't think anyone else would be able to impress me with their vocals until I heard Seungmin's voice. He puts so many feelings and emotions into every note that one has only to hear his voice and tears in a stream, the heart jumps out of his chest, and not every vocalist is capable of such a thing.
