I saw this at a concert...it was amazing, plus those credits and fireworks...it was impossible to hold back the tears...the scale was mesmerizing!!!

The orchestrated symphony, the build up angst - two young ambitious and passionate men, fighting against the realistic odds and challenges (loneliness, extreme temperature in the environment, acceptance of self regardless of audience impact or the lack thereof, the absence of usable tools due to poverty, etch..) but straightforward hearts and brilliant minds that could intertwine poetry and melody into a resounding harmony of emotions. Minho’s voice is so filled with desperate wistfulness and longing that it made my chest tight with so much incomprehensible nostalgia even though this is the first time I’ve heard this song. Like i missed something in my life, far away, and it’s coming back but I don’t even know what it is? It made me reflect to these young men’s experiences throughout their lives. Both were supposed to go to different paths - Minho as the kid who lived a mildly unhinged life and was on his way to college and seungmin who was supposed to train to join the baseball team of his dreams. Both experienced moments of confusion, whether they’re really taking this difficult path and leave the comforts of the forged path for them by society. Then they chose music and their brotherhood, starting from scratch, driving the dilapidated car towards an empty stadium, but not without the frustration and heavy baggage they held on to until they grew into the men they have become. Finally they reached the climax of their hard work and they couldn’t be happier than they’ve ever been, and the only audience they ever wanted was each other. ❤ Thank you, Kim seungmin, for composing this crazy masterpiece and making a 28 year old noona like me, extremely emotional and sad (in a good way) 😭
