I know Stray Kids are in their MEGAVERSE era, but that doesn’t stop me from absolutely loving this song. I used to have social anxiety and would sometimes say things I didn’t really mean that would probably sound really stupid, and I was bullied a lot for this. I wasn’t able to control my emotions anymore, and the pain I was feeling was literally driving me insane. When this song came out, it felt as if it spoke to me; Stray Kids was the reason I was able to cope woth my emotions. Stray kids WORLD DOMINATION.

It's known and accepted that Han is a extremely talented composer, rapper, dancer, producer, etc. But, I have to add that I get chills when Han sings. He's able to utilize so many tones in his voice. Most people talk about his high pitch, but vocally, he's so much more than that. I don't think Han gets enough credit for his vocal talent!

Seungmin's vocal really improved a lot. His hard work is finally paid off. It's true that effort never betrays you. I remember how it was hard for him to hit high notes back then (make sense because he is a baritone). But he and his vocal trainer really worked on it and figured out how to handle it. He knows that he couldn't hit the notes with his chest voice so he really worked on his mixed voice (which is a lot more recommended than chest voice btw) so now he can hit the notes more comfortably. And only singers who has a good singing technique who can produce a good mixed voice. Amazing.

I know Han's lyrics like this come from a place that's not happy, not comfortable, and I'm sorry he's familiar with that place. But I'm also grateful whenever he shares things like this because they accomplish exactly what he intends: they let other people know they're not alone, that they aren't the only ones who go through these things even when it feels like they are. His songs like this are that person who sits next to you and holds your hand and just says, "I understand."
