Yes the idea of Haka is from Chan He’s from Australia they went a family trip in New Zealand which is just a neighbour country & while sky diving with his father he saw this HAKA & learned the moves & how he respect the Maori . I just learned this info on Chan’s VLIVE & STRAY KIDS UNVEIL MIROH ON VLIVE

chan likes to watch hakas before he works out, he has also used words from a haka in ZONE so this isn't the first time he's brought in maori culture. I wouldn't say he's obsessed with the haka but he does really like it and watches them often and has been for a while because he finds them empowering which is probably why he put these moves into this song cos its quite an empowering song that's like "coming into the jungle watch out fam" you know what I mean, anyways now i'm just rambling but yes proud new zealand stay here :))
