I honestly can‘t describe how much I adore this group. They are very young and produce, write and compose their songs. All of them can sing and some vocalists can even rap. Their synchronization is fantastic and better than some senior groups. Stray kids doesn‘t lipsync on stage even though the choreos are tough. And let‘s not forget about their relationship. I sometimes wonder if Kpopgroups really are so close to each other. Stray kids definitely is. No they are family. Not just friends. I don‘t even want to think about one member leaving or that the group‘ll ever disband. They are in my heart and will always be.

Stray Kids is so careful with the lyrics and the concepts of mvs because they don't want just to make songs, but to make such GREAT and RELATABLE songs mostly for young people dealing with insecurities, confusion and challenges but also for adults to understand us better. I think the reason why I stan Stray Kids but not some other groups is because Stray Kids are more than just bops. Other groups can make some groovy tunes but they’re often about some girl or some guy (I mean if it was super poetic it would be okay but it’s normally kind of cookie cutter). Stray Kids’ lyrics can be applied to my life. I always find myself thinking back on them during everyday situations. I guess I just like the message more. Less “I’m into you” and more “I care about you” so it’s easier to connect and care back.

So it was impossible for me to be good in school no matter how hard I tried, and during 11th grade I had a lot of self esteem issues stemming from the fact that I was plain useless in school. But then I realized that not every successful person out there was also a successful student, and not every successful student turned out to be a successful person, and those two are barely even correlated. So I stopped torturing myself with studies and focused on doing things I love, things that make me happy and fulfilled. And now I'm really, really happy.

This rendition, in particular, hit close to home because of my struggles in school, home, and in my future. I can always listen to this song, knowing that these 9 young men--who are still chasing their dreams and struggling just like every other human in this planet--are comforting me with such words of affirmation and encouragement. I do hope people find this group and this song--and all of their songs!--really warm and comforting in times when they don't think they can do things that they want to do. I was having such a hard time today, cuz my dd told me that I've been disappointing him in school, since I'm not good enough at it, and that I need to change, and I was really worried about it cuz it's not something easy for me, but this was like a true *blessing* since it came out just today, and it really lifted my mood, and gave me motivation to actually change in a positive way with a good attitude.
