I know I stan the right group and im proud to call myself a STAY because I know that even when im really struggling STAYs and Stray Kids will always be there to support me (you would should know where I got the start of that line). I suffer everyday thinking im not good enough to be in this world but with my family, STAYs and Stray Kids, I don't have to suffer anymore..

I was having such a hard time today, cuz my dd told me that I've been disappointing him in school, since I'm not good enough at it, and that I need to change, and I was really worried about it cuz it's not something easy for me, but this was like a true *blessing* since it came out just today, and it really lifted my mood, and gave me motivation to actually change in a positive way with a good attitude. It's crazy how they can help people so much with even just the simplest things and even in the shortest time period. I discovered them on the same very day that Hellevator was released and ever since then, my self esteem has grown, I feel more confident and I feel less stressed and much happier. I can't describe how much I'm thankful to Stray Kids. Their songs giving me strength to carry on with my life under depression, every single second of it. I don't know what will happen if I never know or listen to their songs.

I needed this so bad. In my country we have to take a test on our last year of hugh school and shen my brother did it, he was one of the top scores in the country. I want to be on that level too and I feel like I'm putting so much pressure on myself. I want to be good enough like my brother but I'm already good enough as myself. A score doesn't decide that, I do.

Ever since I chose to become a doctor, life began to become exceedingly hard. Not to undermine any other professions or students or people going through their own hardships of course, but college was hell. I graduate in a few months, and looking back all I see is the youth I lost. The last time I was free was as a 14 year old. I suddenly looked up from my life and realised that in a few months I’ll be 24. I thought to myself: Where did a decade of my life go? Was time ever this fleeting? And then last September, days after my birthday, I reconnected with Stray Kids. I used to follow their music, but never could be invested in being a Stay. But they found me. They found me when I was at my lowest point in the year, working and studying and losing sleep and losing patients to COVID and fatal illnesses. But coming home to a skz video, or driving to work to a skz song, gave me so much strength. As I read the lyrics of this song I choked up because I felt understood. Thank you Channie, for being the one to guide me to this safe place. Thank you Hannie for lighting up every moment and for your music. Lino Mino, could I adore you more than I do? You’re so reliable and gentle. Changbinnie, you drew me: to the musicality of Skz 3 years ago, and to the versatility of rap. Hyunjinah, you are soft and inspiring and you are beautiful for seeing beauty in people. Seungmo, we’re born a day apart in different years, and maybe that’s why I feel like we’re one person. This song came out just in time. I’ve been living terribly lately. I’m in eighth grade and get an average of four hours of sleep a night. My family puts lots of pressure on me to do well academically and want me to get the best grades I can. It’s very hard for me because I go to a private school that assigns lots of homework and has lots of tests and quizzes In my family, women have had a history of not doing well academically. My cousin went to France, only to return to not get a job. My mother went to a very bad college as well. I am the only other female who still has a chance to change that cycle. My brother went to an Ivy League and my parents expect the same of me. My father went one of the best colleges in China from his farm and always tells me how he expects so much of me because he got to a good college from hard beginnings. I try my best, but sometimes things don’t work out. You get assigned to bad partners, you have a brain fart, you didn’t study enough, ect. My parents don’t understand it is hard to get into a good college and that school isn’t as easy as they think. My brother went to nationals twice in his sport and won the championships in his division once. My parents think that if my brother can be so good at his sport, so can I. My brother played squash(similar to raquette ball) and I figure skate. I started skating much later than the ones around me and have only started skating seriously for one year. One month ago, I got a concussion and was forced to miss my 8th grade trip to DC and couldn’t skate for over a month. This was a very depressing point in my life because, my parents were mad at me for getting hurt. They had already payed for the trip and could not get the money back. My parents thought I was goofing around and fell while I was practicing my spins when I injured myself. I wake up every morning at 5 A.M. to go skating. After skating I go to school. After school, I go skating again to have dance class. My weekend is full of skating and i skate a total of 7 hours on the weekends. My parents don’t understand the physical toll this is starting to have on me and how I have less and less time for “normal” things. At school, I try to pretend that I’m ok, but after not getting more than 5 hours of sleep for over a month and a half, my appearance changed. I’m always tried, i have no energy and is always grumpy. When I’m not grumpy, I’m energetic but only because the thought of having a breakdown in school scares me. At my old school, I was very depressed and did not tell my parents. I would have a breakdown after I got home, and would be emotionally unstable at school. I was hoping to change after coming to my new school, but things haven’t gone the way I had hoped. For a while, my mom and I didn’t get along well. My dad was away in China with work, as he always is for he only comes back for four months a year, and my brother was in college. My mom would yell at me for the smallest things, but it was liveable. One day, it got to the point where my mom told me she wanted to put me up in foster care because she couldn’t deal with me anymore. I was extremely vulnerable and emotionally unstable at that time and relied on my friends to help me through. Roughly a week or two after that, I got my concussion. The school nurse had advised me to stay at home for the next two days because she didn’t want me to hurt myself more. My mom thought ( and still does think) that I was exaggerating my symptoms to get out of school. She woke me up the next day and yelled at me all the way to the bus stop and when u got into the bus, I was already in tears, I cried my eyes out the entire 40 minute bus ride school. After I arrived, I found a dark corner and listened to music. Thankfully, my home room teacher noticed and sent me home. Due to my terrible sleeping habits, stress about sports and academics, and a depressing outlook on life, my lifestyle has become extremely unhealthy. Thanks to stray kids, I’ve somehow gone through the past month. Without them, I don’t know where I would be. I am extremely thankful to stray kids and hope that they can continue to inspire people like me to keep going through life no matter how hard it is. ❤️❤️❤️ YOU MAKE STRAY KIDS STAY ❤️❤️❤️ THANK YOU STRAY KIDS FOR HELPING ME THROUGH HARD TIMES WHEN MY FAMILY WAS NOT THERE TO HELP ME.
