I agree with you a lot. Now, my goal is different but when I was a little younger, I wanted to be a psychiatrist, because I was geninuenly very interested in psychology and TED Talk like programs, but not my parents but some of our relatives had filled my parents' mind that psychology is a burden and there is barely a chance she can pursue her career in that field. And my parents had started asking me to focus on my studies. I couldn't devote time for random lessons I had for psychology from websites. So I wrote a letter to my parents about how I'm feeling. They started understanding my point of view. I'm extremely grateful these people can push me forward towards doing things that eat me up. They didn't just pursue their own dream but also encouraged others to open up and talk about what's lingering in their minds.

Oh yes, I hope my parents could be more understanding and open-minded, and yes I find it really courageous the fact that jisung talked to his parents abt his dream and made this deal, and I'm thinking.. wow.. his parents were understanding enough to let him go to Korea for a year.?? (Ig) and if he makes it (entering in a company) they'd let him pursue his dream???.. or maybe it happened in a different way, aftet we don't know all the details and well.. it doesn't matter. He really worked hard even when he was still in Malaysia, I mean.. even after and he has his own colours, his way of .. expressing himself through music??? I mean this boy is full of talent

Seungmin asks Han what's his worst memory of being a trainee and he says it's the mornings after practicing til dawn and he adds that it mustve had been even worse for Seungmin since he had to go to school the morning afterwards. Seungmin agrees, saying he used to practice til 4-5am then go home right away, wash up and go to school, after school he got back to practicing. Jisung goes on saying he doesnt know how he survived all that back then , how he held on. Seungmin argues that it's harder now but Jisung doesnt agree. Seungmin goes on to say that it was really scary back then as they didnt know what would happen to them but now that theyve come out in the world, he feels that there are even scarier things here. Han's saying how they didnt even know whether the 9 of them would end up together in the end for sure and Seungmin says that was really scary. he says that when you are a trainee, another trainee you are very close to might disappear any second (meaning they might get eliminated, kicked out, leave the company on their own..) and then they recall memories of the first time they experienced such situations. Han says at first he used to cry a lot but being a trainee for 3 years, he got used to it at some point. Seungmin says it was shocking for him, the first time that happened. he couldnt process it. he says his heart hurts at the memory. jesus, this is just the first 1:25, how much did they talk exactly :') i didnt notice while watching haha

They first start by talking about how difficult their lives as trainees was (i.e. how long they have to stay up, with Seungmin practically getting no sleep since he would train past midnight, then go to school the next day, etc.) The main points were basically about how they ended up going to JYP. Jisung made a deal with his parents saying that if he didn't end up somewhere in a year, he would go back to Malaysia to study. After his first audition somewhere else, he and his friend passed by a JYP audition, and even though Han thought that he probably wouldn't get in, his friend said that "We should at least try! Maybe we'll see celebrities." Little did Jisung know that immediately after his audition, he would be asked when he would be available for the second round of auditions, and so Seungmin was talking about how it's crazy to think that if it weren't for that friend, Jisung would have never been a Stray Kids member. Seungmin was planning on being a baseball player, but due to certain circumstances, he ended up deciding that he wanted to be a singer. Also, they were talking about getting presents for each other's birthdays. Jisung mentions something about how he regrets not getting Felix a birthday present last year (since their birthdays are directly after each others) but Seungmin says that it's okay since they understand that he's busy producing. Seungmin said that for himself, what the present is doesn't matter because he appreciates the idea of someone actually getting something for him. Because of that, he says that he really likes it when he receives letters.
