S: no, we do so many missions that i think everything is a mission now, really. (C laughs) C: (smells banana (dude wyd??)) oh, it’s sweet! it smells sweet. ah! did you know you’re actually meant to peel bananas form this end? i heard you’re meant to start peeling from this end. (WTF CHAN NO) normally. all the monkeys peel from this end. S: oh, then you can peel from that end. (implies C is a monkey and laughs). C: no, i already peeled it! apparently it’s because if you peel it from this end the lines here (the banana strings i guess lol) come off with the peel. look, look, look, there are no stings. S: ohh, true. how are you going to eat it now?? C is done with life S: last year was so memorable…is there anything you remember in particular? not SKZ schedules. C: hold on. what was there again? C: you’re right x3 S: it reminded me a lot of the old times (when they were trainees). C: For me, it’s then. Chu-seok! (korean holiday) we all went to the PC Rooms together. Both of them: OOOHHH C: That’s the one!! (laughs) S: That was the first time all of us went to the PC Room after debut. C: You’re right x2. All of us went together once before debut. There’s also the time when all of us went to play soccer. S: oh, soccer. C: (gasps) oh, it was really fun. Minho was a real underdog (dark horse). He made all the goals. and he was keeper at the ISAC. then he couldn’t block any of them! When I went to school, at lunchtime i ate really fast then ran to the field/oval and played nothing but soccer with my friends. didn’t you do that too? S: when i was in the first year so at luck high school (year 10) i was really close with the kids in my class so at lunch - all the kids in our grade were super close - we were like ‘make sure you're out on time’ and we used to make tournaments by ourselves and have finals and stuff. C: oh wow, i think i know what you;re talking about. Are you a arts or STEM guy? (in korea they like to divide people depending on if they’re better at arts subjects or science/stem subjects and there’s a bit of a rivalry between the 2 groups). S: me? i was STEM. C: ah :( (S: were you arts?) i was arts. S: ah :( C: we’re having conflict even from here. all the kids who were good at soccer were from arts. my friends :) so we played together. S: do you still keep in contact with those friend? C: of course i do! some of them have completed their mandatory military service. S: oh true. some of my friends will have to go soon too. C: it’s a strange feeling. “guys, I’m going to the military.” whoa o.o S: We went to your house that time. (C: in australia?) Your australian house. C: yeahh S: then all of us… your dad- C: the BBQ party? S: Yeah, it he did that for us- C: how was it? S: it was my first time eating lamb. like a chicken drumstick C: AHHHHHH it’s really good, right? S: woah… i still can’t put it into words. C: that time at ____ (famous gimpbab chain in korea) S: oh, at the open audition! C: oh,i literally can’t remember anything but that. we were eating and the other trainees were like ‘oh hyung! the kids from the open audition are coming!’ and i was like ‘open auditions? i’ve seen a lot of kids from there~’ so i was eating and not really paying attention but someone came up to us. they came up to us and were like ‘hello, hello’ politely then went. there were so many people then, but only 1 person came to greet us. i was like ‘whoa, people like that exist.’ it was a really new feeling. S: oh, really? C: so i remember your face from them really clearly. S: ohhh~ C: After that i went to see the trainees. (S: yeahh) i couldn’t see anyone but you. (S: oh, really??) because of that incident. S: you were like ‘oh, that’s the guy!’? C: i didn’t know your name so i kept looking thinking ‘who was that kid again?” S: you must’ve seen a lot of kids from the open auditions. Since 2011, at least 5 times? C: yeah, i think that’s about right. S; that would’ve been you last one, right? C; yeah x3 the one with you was my last one, if you look at it that way. Both of them: wow S: it’s so strange. C: What was your first impression of me? S: First impression? C: ohhhh, no one had good first impressions of me :(( haha. i had too much of a strong image (unapproachable) S: you were, kinda. i thought that a bit too, but it was kinda like ‘oh, this person is JYP trainee’s leader!’ you could tell you had been here for a long time. (C: mmm). you have blond hair with a black baseball hat on. C: my clothes were all black too. S: when we all gathered for dance practice, there were 40 of us. It was my first time and i was like - all the new people are like - “uhh, what/how do we do this?” and we look at the people at the front, and you were the fastest in getting the choreo right. (C: ohhh) then i was sure ‘this guy is different’. C: wait, i think i remember our first class together?! S: The dun-dun-du-du-dun. The english… C: WOAHH you’re right wow. I was a bit surprised by you then. S: oh really? C: you were a lot better than i thought you would be. S: oh really??? C: well! it was nice nice talking to you properly for the first time in a while.
